If you are looking to learn about or improve your knowledge of inbound marketing and the tools you can use in the HubSpot COS platform to generate, nurture and convert leads, here is some good news: HubSpot is bringing its in-person training courses to Dublin again, with three sessions set to take place this October in the city centre.
Whether you are just starting out in inbound marketing and want to find out just what you can do to drive traffic to your website and turn visitors into customers, have recently joined a team that uses the HubSpot platform and need to get to grips with its many useful processes, or want to perfect the skills you already have, one or all of these HubSpot courses may be for you.
First up is Fundamentals Training: Building an Inbound Campaign, which runs from October 9-10. The course will lay the foundations of the inbound marketing methodology, explaining how it works to attract, convert and delight leads for your business.
It’s not just about theory either – the course will also guide you through the process of building an inbound marketing campaign for your business using the HubSpot tools, so you can bring more clients to your business or agency and drive growth that proves your worth and increases ROI with an optimised, sales-driven approach to your website and online content.
Day 1 starts with introductions to the presenter and your peers, so networking is an added bonus to the event, before a session on the foundations of buyer personas, goal setting and content creation.
There’s a lot to take in, so lunch will present a welcome chance to refuel and talk things over with other attendees before it’s back to class for a session on building the conversion process with Calls-To-Action, Landing Pages, Thank You pages and follow-up emails that will form the basis of your lead nurturing campaigns.
We have contact
Day 2 introduces the topic of managing and segmenting your contact database with HubSpot’s tools and using smart lists to qualify leads and target the right people at the right time with the right content – something that is proving ever-more essential in today’s world of online consumerism and the need to personalise and tailor content for a positive user experience.
After that, the focus will turn to sending effective emails to nurture leads along the conversion path – the single most effective way to increase conversions.
After lunch, it will be time to look at content optimisation and blogging best practices, before delving into social media monitoring and publishing to increase your content reach and engagement with consumers.
To close, the session will look at reporting on your success metrics, the tools you can use to do this and the best way to formulate a strategy to analyse and measure results. It’s often said in inbound circles that if you can’t measure, you can’t improve, and knowing how to gain the analytical insights you need to improve your strategy is key to ongoing success and reaching KPIs.
The dawn of creation
The session on October 11 looks squarely at Creating Effective Inbound Content, with the course aimed at helping you improve your content strategy.
Perfect for those already creating content but looking for ways to enhance and optimise it, this one-day course looks at everything content-related, from aligning content to the buyer’s journey to blog title brainstorming to content analysis and creating an editorial calendar.
After introductions, the session will start by showing how you better understand how content creation works within the inbound methodology and how it is aligned to your personas and the buyer’s journey, before diving deeper into how to define that journey and map content to it.
With organic content so important, it is also key to be able to audit what you already have and identify areas of opportunity for new and improved content for your ongoing strategy, and this session will also look at how HubSpot’s tools make this easy and manageable.
It will also look at the best practices for creating great content offers that will increase lead generation for your business.
After lunch, the second half of the session will look at topic brainstorming, mapping out topic clusters, repurposing content and enhancing the offers you have, before turning to advice on how to become a content machine who can produce consistent and effective blogs and offers. It will conclude with a session on creating a content calendar so you can plan your output and the best ways to formulate a repeatable editorial process that allows you to ‘rinse and repeat’ with what works to drive potential clients to your site.
Let it flow
The last of the three courses, taking place on October 12, focuses solely on workflows with Lead Management and Automation, which will guide HubSpot users through the process of implementing lead nurturing campaigns and managing data in the platform’s tools.
After introductions and an opening lesson on the purpose of automation for your business, the session will move on to managing your contacts, creating custom contact properties and identifying possible database processes that can be automated. Following that, it’s on to defining how contacts enter your workflows and determining the actions visitors to your site need to take in order to take their first steps along the conversion path.
After lunch, the session will focus on effective lead nurturing and how you can build and implement powerful campaigns in the HubSpot workflow tools, before looking at how best to use personalisation in the process.
The final two parts of this course will turn to effectively managing your workflow settings to ensure visitor actions trigger the right response at the right time to maximise their effectiveness, and identifying the metrics you can use to measure the performance of your automation.
Whether you want to take it one step at a time with a single session, or want to dive right in and sign up for all three, there is enough valuable information here to help you get off to a flying start in your inbound marketing career, or improve upon your current strategies and skillsets.
Each course costs €920 per seat, but what you can take away from them in terms of expertise and tips on how best to use HubSpot to optimise your inbound marketing strategy and increase ROI for your business is invaluable. Classes are limited to 18 attendees, so make sure you don’t miss out!
