The session on October 11 looks squarely at Creating Effective Inbound Content, with the course aimed at helping you improve your content strategy.

Perfect for those already creating content but looking for ways to enhance and optimise it, this one-day course looks at everything content-related, from aligning content to the buyer’s journey to blog title brainstorming to content analysis and creating an editorial calendar.

After introductions, the session will start by showing how you better understand how content creation works within the inbound methodology and how it is aligned to your personas and the buyer’s journey, before diving deeper into how to define that journey and map content to it.

With organic content so important, it is also key to be able to audit what you already have and identify areas of opportunity for new and improved content for your ongoing strategy, and this session will also look at how HubSpot’s tools make this easy and manageable.

It will also look at the best practices for creating great content offers that will increase lead generation for your business.


After lunch, the second half of the session will look at topic brainstorming, mapping out topic clusters, repurposing content and enhancing the offers you have, before turning to advice on how to become a content machine who can produce consistent and effective blogs and offers. It will conclude with a session on creating a content calendar so you can plan your output and the best ways to formulate a repeatable editorial process that allows you to ‘rinse and repeat’ with what works to drive potential clients to your site.

The last of the three courses, taking place on October 12, focuses solely on workflows with Lead Management and Automation, which will guide HubSpot users through the process of implementing lead nurturing campaigns and managing data in the platform’s tools.

After introductions and an opening lesson on the purpose of automation for your business, the session will move on to managing your contacts, creating custom contact properties and identifying possible database processes that can be automated. Following that, it’s on to defining how contacts enter your workflows and determining the actions visitors to your site need to take in order to take their first steps along the conversion path.

After lunch, the session will focus on effective lead nurturing and how you can build and implement powerful campaigns in the HubSpot workflow tools, before looking at how best to use personalisation in the process.


The final two parts of this course will turn to effectively managing your workflow settings to ensure visitor actions trigger the right response at the right time to maximise their effectiveness, and identifying the metrics you can use to measure the performance of your automation.
